We’ll be in-person this month for the September Garden Chat!
This is a great opportunity to connect with other native plant garden enthusiasts in the Greater Baltimore area.
Attendees are welcome to explore the gardens at this Bel Air home while we chat about our gardening successes and challenges. Everyone will also go home with 1 or 2 native plants.
Garden description: This 1/5-acre suburban lot started with established gardens containing non-natives and lots of mulch. About 3 years ago the priority became adding natives and planting “green” mulch. Although established non-native plants remain, there are no invasive plants and many native plants have been added and are spreading throughout the landscape. There is also a focus on experimenting with native plants in containers.
We welcome gardeners that are just beginning their journey to those with many years of experience as we all continue to learn about native plants and their ecosystems.
The exact location at a private residence in Bel Air, MD will be provided to registrants 1 week prior to the event.
